http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chile-c2871 international and Udinese Calcio striker Alexis Sanchez has made it clear that he does not want to go anywhere else in the summer of 2011 and wants to win silverware with his club.
Sanchez plays for the Serie A club Udinese and has been in rich vein of form especially in the second half of the ongoing 2010-11 season.
The striker has expressed his desire to stay at the club being a Zebrette player. The 22-year-old cleared that he has no plans of leaving Italy and any news of his move are mere rumours and nothing else.
Sanchez said, “It's one of my main objectives to win a trophy in Italy. We are currently six points behind Milan. Winning the league would be a dream come true, but we're taking it one game at a time.”
The Chile international has stressed that he really is not aware of his worth neither he wants to talk about it. He is fully concentrating on his game play and does not want to get involved in any talks that could result in his distraction.
He further said, “It’s upto the club president to decide his worth and if anyone is interested in knowing it then Giampaolo is the right person to contact with. I really don't know how much I'm worth and I'm not even thinking about it. [President Giampaolo]
Pozzo is the only one who knows, so you'd have to ask him if you want to know the club's asking price.”
The striker has improved a lot since joining Udinese and now has become an integral member of the side. His outstanding run of form has so far enabled the Bianconeri to earn a place in the top four.
The striker has shown his delight over the team’s recent run of good results and is confident that Udinese could pose a serious threat to AC Milan’s title dreams.
Udinese are fourth in the Serie A with 56 points, 6 clear of the current leaders AC Milan.
With eight games remaining in the season, Sanchez will be hoping to give the Serie A title one last try.
