Alexis Sanchez on the verge of making move to Old Trafford

Manchester United's manager, Alex Ferguson is reported to have stepped up in his bid to try and land Chilean superstar and wing wizard Alexis Sanchez. The player has been linked with a move to Manchester United ever since the conclusion of the FIFA World
Cup 2010 and it seems like the time for him to finally make the switch to Old Trafford from Udinese is finally here.
Sanchez gained a lot of recognition for his performances and his abilities in the World Cup in South Africa, this was due to the fact that he was nominated to be amongst the best young players in the tournament. The player even managed to pull of the spectacular
record of completing the most successful dribbles, during the course of the tournament and this was despite the fact that both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were on display during the World Cup as well.
The players agent is reported to have said:“I don’t think he will move in the January transfer window, but maybe in the summer. We will see.
“Yes, they [Manchester United] are watching him, and it could be a possibility in the future. I have heard that another Premier League club also enquired, but they didn’t contact me."
“For the time being the only thing I have heard is from Manchester United. The Premier League is a very interesting destination for Alexis Sanchez but it is only Manchester at the moment.”
The fact that the players manager has gone ahead and stated that United are leading the chase to sign the player, seems to justify the fact that he is bound to be a Red Devil sooner
than later. Sanchez seems to have out grown Udinese and is often the player that the team looks to, to help make the difference. However the player has also realized that if he wishes to grow any furhter as a player, then he needs to make the move and join
a bigger club like United.
According to experts United can secure the services of the player for a mere sixteen million pounds, if they are to launch an official bid for the player.
