Castro both flied out to right-field while Matt Garza struck-out without adding any run for the Cubs.
On the other side, Maybin and Bartlett both ground out while Headley struck-out without extending the lead for the Padres. At the top of the fourth, Cubs’ batters scored their first run to cut their deficit 2-1. Aramis Ramirez struck a one-run homer towards
centre-field to keep the Cubs alive. The middle innings went without any run and the Padres remained on top at the end of the seventh inning.

and Andy Parrino struck-out without posting any run.
