Algae worth anything?

I'm at my parents and they have a pond full of algae. A huge amount and I was wondering if its worth selling. If so how much is it worth and what's the best thing to do with it? I read something about biodesiel fuel? Or should I just trash it?

Things like that are worth only what someone will pay for them.  Since I doubt that you can find a buyer, just trash the algae, or compost it.
