  1. 26.  60/1.5=40mph

    30.  175/50=3.5 hours

    42.  6ft/sec, 60 secs in a minute means 6*60=360ft/minute

    so...60min/hr means 360ft*60=21,600ft/hr-convert that to miles, you can do it.  there are 5,280 feet in a mile

    48.  same thing along the lines of number 42-try it.

  2. ill give you the formaulas you figure it out.

    d = distance

    t = time

    as = average speed

    everything else is self explanatory.

    26.  d / t = as ___  Kph

    30.  d / as = t ____ hrs

    42.  ft  x  seconds in a min = ft/min

          ft  x  minutes in an hour = ft/hour

          ft  /   ft in a mile  = miles/hr

    48.  500 ft in 60 secs = 500ft/min

          ft  x  mins in an hour = ft/hr

          ft  /   ft in a mile = miles/hr

  3. 26. divide 60km by 1.5 hours to find the average speed (km/h)

    30. divide 175 miles by 50 miles per hour to find total hours

    42. multiply 6ft by 3600

    48. 1 minute is 500ft.. so multiply to get 1 mile
