it says: write the equation in slope-intercept form for the line that has the indicated slope, m, and y-intercept, b.

1. m= 2, b= -5

2. m= 3, b=1

how do you do these???

please help me.

i need to understand this!

can u tell me how u got the answer if you are smart enough to do it??

  1. The equation for the slope intercept is;

    Y = mX + b

    so Y = 2X -5

    and

    Y = 3X +1


  2. The equation slope-intercept is

    y=mx+b

    so i think it's just:

    y=2x-5

    amd

    y=3x+1

    :)

  3. slope intercept form:  y = mx + b

    m = slope

    b = y-intercept.  

    Just plug in

    1.  y = 2x - 5

    2.  y = 3x +1
