Algebra 2 problems....help me (10 pts).?

I have several problems that I don't know how to solve. Please help me by explaining and showing me. Here they are!

17. A=1/2bh-I need to solve for h

18. S=1/2gt (squared)-solve for g

19.v=lwh-solve for w

20. I=prb-solve for r

21. s=2(pie sign)rh-solve for r

22. V=(pie sign)r(squared)h-solve for h

all you do is multiply the opposite of 1/2 to both sides.

2 x A=1/2bh x 2

then you get

2A=bh

you then divid by b

so it equals 2A over h=b

19.  divide lh from both sides and you have your answer

v over lh= w

that's all i know

For each of these problems, you need to isolate the variable you are looking for.

17. A=1/2 b h so to get h alone you would divide A by 1/2b and h is then alone. you the opposite action that is done on one side to the other. A (over) 1/2b = h

18. S=1/2gt^2 so then you square root the right side of the = sign to get the square root of 1/2gt and then you divide s by the square root of 1/2t. S over the square root of 1/2 t.

19. v=lwh is v over lh = w

20. I=prb is I over pb =r

21. s=2(pi)rh is ... divide both sides by 2(pi)h and you get s over 2piH =r

22. V=(pi)r^2h again, divide both sides by everything other than the variable you want to solve for... V over (pi)r^2 = h

2gt^2 = 1/S

g = 1/(2t^2S)

19.v=lwh-solve for w

w = v/(lh)

20. I=prb-solve for r

r = l/(pb)

21. s=2(pie sign)rh-solve for r

s = 2pirh

r = s/(2pih)

22. V=(pie sign)r(squared)h-solve for h

h = V/(pir^2)
