  1. I know it is late

    1.

at the x terms together and the xy terms together

    3x+11xy+5x^2

    2.

    4x^2+4y+10x^2+2y

    add like terms

    14x^2+^y

    3. distribute the negative sign into the term

    4a+3b+5a+8b

    now add like terms

    9a+11b

    4. first Davide 49 by 7 and you get 7

now add x^-1 y^-1 to the top and bottom and you get x^2 y^3

so the answer is 7x^2 y^3

    5. first you get separate the top two terms into two different terms by putting the denominator under both of them so it looks like this

    6m^3 n^4       8m^2

    -------------    + -------

    2m^2 n           2m^2n

now work it out with the steps shown above

    3mn^4  + 4n

6.ok im not going to explain it (it is done in above problems just rearange the sentances to fit this problem)

    distribute the 5x^2

    35x^2+10x^4
