  1. (x-1)^2 +6-2=0 (in the above equation x^2->x, the numeral of second digit divided by two + thelast number - the numeral attached to x)

    => (x-1)^2 +4 = 0

    => (x-1)^2= -4

    taking square root on both sides

    x-1 = ± 2i   [i is square root of -1]

    => x= 1± 2i

    x= 1± 2i

    please forgive my poor english and for not presenting it professionally

  2. it's all real numbers, since its a parabolic function for all real values of x, there is a y value. so the answer is basically: all real numbers.

  3. i'm not really sure buy i think it is x-2x+6 over p. i think that is the answer

  4. D=(-2)^2-4*1*6=4-24=-24

  5. Since the value of p(x) is defined for all values of x therefore it's domain is the entire set of real numbers.

  6. First of all "domain" is all the numbers that the value "x" can be.

    Since this function is continuous and there is no limit to x, the domain is all real numbers.
