Show that the following statement is false by providing a counterexample

'' -x is always negative''

I really don't get how to do this..because I don't understand what they're trying to ask

  1. 2 show that -x is always negative is false just say that if x is a negative number, then -x has 2 be positve making the statement false


  2. well if x = -3 then -(-3) = positive three.. so can't always be negative if its a negative number, makes it positive....
