I can write the slope-intercept form of the line for: 4x+2y=8 and give the slope and y intercept BUT..when it's written like: 9y=5x+3 I totally don't know what to do. Where am I (and my old brain) tripping myself up and how do I write this one?

  1. 9y = 5x + 3

    y = (5/9) x + 1/3

  2. 9y=5x+3

    divide each term by 9

    y = 5x/9 + 3/9

    =  5x/9 + 1/3

    there u go!
