Algebra help?? i need help i can't figure out this question.?

today was my second day of algebra and i need help on this question help me please!! it's due on September 4th so i don't have much time please help!!!!

41=2/5(x)-7

okay the way to do it is to get x by itself

first you would add 7 to both sides to get rid of the negative 7

so you would have 48=2/5x

then you would multiply each side by 5/2 so you would get

240/2 which equals 120

remember what you do on one side you have to do to the other

the reason why i multiplied by 5/2 is to get 2/5 equal to 1 and 1 times x is  still x
