Algerian international Foued Kadir declares his love for Olympique de Marseille – Ligue 1 news
Algerian international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 and has said that he would be open to a move to the Rhone club if an offer arrived.
The midfielder is currently under contract at Ligue 1 side Valenciennes where he has become an integral part of the squad. Olympique de Marseille are currently seeking to add new players in their squad during the upcoming winter transfer window and could
possibly make a move for the 27-year-old midfielder.
While talking to Algerian newspaper Le Buteur, the Martigues-born player said that he would always be open to a move to Les Phoceens.
“Who does not dream of Marseille? It is a club that makes you feel special. Clubs like these make you dream,” said the Algerian before stating that currently he still has a year left on his contract and is fully aware of the task at hand and will honour
his club’s decisions.
Author of an interesting start to the new campaign in which the Algerian has scored one goal and has provided two assists, the question still remains whether Kadir will be able to adapt to the surroundings if he earns a transfer to the club.
However, chances of Kadir arriving at Stade Velodrome this winter seem slim to say the least.
In a midfield that is already congested with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jean-Philippe-Sabo-c18220, Kadir would certainly find it hard to break into the first-team. Since joining Valenciennes from Amiens in the summer of 2009,
Kadir has made 39 appearances for the club and has only recently become an integral part of the squad.
Marseille are currently looking for a few new players in the upcoming winter transfer window but the chances of Marseille going for another midfielder are slim as Didier Deschamps is pretty well-stocked in that department and is looking to add more fire
to the striking department which would certainly be depleted when the Ayew brothers (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabon-c2902.
