Alicante or Benidorm, suggestions ?

Hi, we wanna visit Spain mid oct, with 2 kids aged 4 n 1. Which wld b better of the two. We r luking 2 explore but also need easy access to beaches, amusement parks, arcades etc for kids??? Any suggestions on resorts etc??? Many thanx.

For me it has to be Benidorm. There is more to offer for the kids.

Neither of them is a holiday destination for families! Additionally, mid October is already off season in mainland Spain. Better try the Canary Islands, prices much the same or even cheaper, although the flight is somewhat longer.

Benidorm is not suitable for kids, there is nothing for them, it is know as an alcoholics paradise. We went with kids and hated it and october rain and cold. Its like a dirty Blackpool without the amusement arcades
