  1. Hello, I'm planning on having an Alice in Wonderland themed sweet sixteenth next week and I'm having the same problem thinking of things to do, but here's some ideas that I have come up with:

    Decorations:

Make topiary bushes out of an oasis sphere (can be bought from a florist, if not use styrofoam) and a broom handle. Attach them together and stick in fake white and red roses to create a "painting the roses red" feel. Also use lawn flamingos and hedgehog stuffed toys to have the croquet look. You can also have lots of teapots around. Maybe one big one with the doormouse peeking out of the top (stuffed toy.) Also I have bought an inflatable bottle of the internet (not too expensive) and I am going to attach a drink me label on it with cardboard and string and put it in the room. Decks of cards are a must and they can be placed almost anywhere, on the walls, tables, floor, even hang them from the ceiling with fishing wire if you can reach! Also I have bought A4 size cards from the internet and am going to glue them together to make a house of cards! Also, if you can (I'm currently struggling to find these), get some plastic tea sets and glue them stacked up leaning to the side, it will make a fab centrepiece. Also pocketwatches and clocks are cool to hang around. If you can, find a giant key and you can put it somewhere. Oh, and I almost forgot, I have made out of wood a signpost. I have nailed the sign bits onto the post really wonky so it looks wonderland-like. I have wrote things like "This way", "That way", "Yonder", "Up" and "Down" on them. This looks great!

    Food:

Food can be either finger sandwiches and tea like the tea party, or you can do what I'm doing and just do cakes and biscuits, (as we are having food somewhere else beforehand!) The cakes and biscuits can read Eat me or they can be in the shape of hearts (for the queen of hearts) ,cards , cats or rabbits etc. The drinks can be labeled drink me!

    Other stuff:

You could play flamingo croquet, or card games with your friends. You could even play spin the teapot or bottle but it will have to be again labelled drink me! Everyone will have to be dressed as a character from Alice in Wonderland, but if they are not the dressing up type, tell them that they can dress in foolish attire, for all to admire. This can be bright colours, clothes inside out, big hats etc.!

Hope this helps you and enjoy your very merry unbirthday party! hehe!

  2. It might be nice to have a couple cupcakes for each kid to decorate on their own, put out colors and sprinkles (red hearts, Bunny shapes, etc.) for them get creative. Have your daughter judge the best top three, and give prizes. Have them play a short game of croquet, divide them into groups, and the winners get prizes.  Have them dress the part of their favorite character from the movie (except for Alice, That would be for your daughter). Maybe you can sit a watch the movie again, and come up with a few things that stick out, that they maybe able to do.

  3. Isn't 15 a little to old to be having a Disney themed party?

  4. Croquet is a hoot even for beginners!

  5. Go to a ice skating rink and decorate it with Alice in Wonderland Decorations! Hope I helped!

  6. Cute ideas would be:

invitations shaped like teacups or on a deck of cards. and saying something like "Don't be late for this very important date!" (date of party)

have all the guests wear "Mad Hatter" hats

    dress up as favorite characters

decorate in sky blue and white (Alice's colors)

make it a tea party, but serve lemonade and iced tea and punch instead

make cupcakes and decorate them to look like mushrooms and flowers

make a cake the shape of a teapot (recipe here: http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipe...

fun games: pin the Cheshire Cat, croquet (played in Alice in Wonderland), card games, instead of Simon Says you can do The Queen of Hearts Says, Musical Mad Hatter (musical chairs)

    cute theme, have fun!!!!

  7. That party sounds awesome.

    Am I invited?

Well, anyway, have the guests dress us like people from alice in wonderland. have cupcakes shaped like mushrooms and the cake be a tea pot.

  8. Try researching for Gwen Stefani stuff. Like videos, websites, songs etc. She's a real big fan of Alice in the wonderland. Me too! I wore an alice in the wonderland inspired dress for the prom. Get some tea and people serving tea wearin mascots of bunnies and  kings and queens and jacks. I think those are cute! Haha so I think u rly should check out Gwen Stefani. The "what u waitin for" video of hers (i think) will give u an idea. :-)

  9. Mushrooms? After all its what its all about.....

Ahem, disney?? Its a brilliant Lewis Carroll book!  Bloody Disney.....

  10. 1.  Place 20 items on a tray that relate somehow to Alice and walk slowly around the room.  then walk the tray out and leave it in another room and have guests try to remember what they were by writing them down on paper.

    2. unscramble misc. words from the story.  bigger words of course.  i.e.  ibtrba leoh   (rabbit hole)

    have fun!

  11. do a neighborhood scavenger hunt. talk to your neighbors and give them a heads up. then make a list of items most people would have in their houses.

when i was in junior high my friend Zack had one for his birthday every year. we did it at night and divided into two teams of boys and girls, and his mom always had something for the winning team.

    it was so much fun!

of course afterward we slow danced in the garage and played spin the bottle/truth or dare. thats probably mostly why i remember it being fun!
