Alice in wonderland 14th birthday party?

Question

well im a girl and im turning 14 soon and im only inviting 4 girls to my party, is that too much of a little amount of people to have this theme?

And i would like LOTS of ideas on basically anything that has something to do with alice in wonderland for my party! like...

.drinks

.food

.decorations

.games

.invitations

and also please list ideas like what time my party should start and finish and whether it should be a sleepover or not? and also i dont have THAT much money my party budget is only around $120 and where abouts shoould i have my party and whether we should go anywhere or just stay home the whole time? please help!

well i say go with as many people as possible and then find really cheap ways to make the stuff you want to do cus alice in wonderland is to awesome for just 5 people

Well Alice in wonderland is a very wide theme. You should consider extending the guestlist to maybe 12-15 girls. This way, $120 should still be able to cover the food and decor.

Hi I am having and Alice in Wonderland Party for My 19th in a Month! I think that is you are only having four close friends you will have more money to make it more special I think that is fine if you just want it to be your close friends. I think adding a few more like 6-8 would also be fine.

I think you should stay at home and if you have a big enough back yard I think it would work great!

First of all if you want you could have your friends dress up as characters if they want and you could be Alice! There is Chersire the Cat, The Mouse, Qween of Hearts, Tweedle dee and Tweddle Dumb, Mad Hatter, and the Rabbit there are also some others if you look.

For an invitation make sure it says don't be late for this very important date you could attach a red or white rose to each one.

Since it is not a large group of people I think you should set up a nice table with tea cups and tea pots maybe have a tea pot filled with flowers or in a vase have playing cards laying on the talbe. Maybe have some candles.

Use paper lanterns hanging from the porch or tress Also hang twinkle lights.

I would have it in the late affternoon that way you can have a sleep over afterwords.

Also the person below that posted about the little girls party is very cute and all out I love what they did with the balloons I wanted to do it for my party but it would take to much time and money.. atleast for me lol.

I'm having this for my 14th birthday as well!

Planning to have it outside and decorate the table with a Mad Hatter's tea party theme by:

- putting tea pots everywhere

-cupcakes with eat me on them

-labels saying drink me attatched to the drinks

-a house of cards glued together

-a couple of doilies

If I have it at night I think I will put up fairy lights to make it a bit eerie like Wonderland is. And just put some plastic pink flamingoes in the garden, also signs with 'this way' 'that way' on them.

Then I am hoping to somehow find a croquet set and play croquet, which would be pretty fun (put pink socks over the ends and glue googly eyes onto them to create the flamingoes the Queen of Hearts played with).

Maybe doing a scavenger hunt based on the story?

A rabbit pinata ?

I'm getting my guests to come dressed up, then there could be a costume contest or something.

don't know much about alice in wonderland but you have to start your party at tea-time  and have a tea-party !  then to end u should have a sleepover and watch alice in wonderland :)  lol can i come ;)
