Alien Footage? Man Says he Will Release the footage to the Public?

My mother last night said she was watching the news and an older man with blond hair said he wanted to educate the public on extraterrestrial life, and that he had real footage! She said she saw this last night on either CNN or Headline News and couldn't remember the guys name.

Has anyone heard of this??? I have been looking for this all day!

I do not know his name, however over the years I have heard people make similar claims that came to naught, and so I would be a little leery of any claim that is made.
