  1. The existence of Aliens can never be proven unless SETI picks up a radio communication.  In 50 years of trying, they have not succeeded.  Interstellar distances make interstellar travel impossible. Very likely we will never know if we have neighbors.  Believing is irrelevant.

I seriously doubt we will ever travel faster than light.  That violates our most basic physics.  Even approaching the speed of light requires near oceans of fuel.  And high speeds are dangerous.  Impact with a dust particle can destroy you.

If we ever developed a time machine, there should be time visitors right now.  Where are all the time tourists?  And a time machine would have to be a space-time machine too.  Yesterday the earth was in a very different place in space than it is today.  A thousand years ago the space we occupied was VERY far from the space we occupy today.  Time travellers who do not compensate for the movement of the earth through space will find themselves in a vacuum.

  2. i don't believe in aliens

  3. Aliens are time travelers from our own future. Aliens are what people will look like years into the future. That is evolution. There is no such thing as time. Time is a man made word for space. Just replace the word time in my 1st sentence for the word space and you will have your answer.

  4. yes i believe there other forms of life beside human life ; our tech. is still groping in the dark we would have to have some server tech break through to reach the  speed of light; space craft and engines that can efficiently turn fuel into maximum amount or energy propel the ship but it seem impossible to  break  time barrier

  5. Yes, I believe it would be really weird if we were the only planet with life, in a universe teeming with stars and probably planets.

I do think it's possible to bypass the speed of light "problem", but not actually break it in speed, as it's only a condition of actually travelling in space rather than recognition that information is in 4 or more dimensions. It may not be possible to get around (or through) this physically though.

The time barrier is an illusion too ... we need to become more  aware of the connection of where one or something is relative to where someone or somewhere else is, as being a variable time difference.  Both places may be accelerating in the same time "direction" or opposite (I see the arrow of time like a mix between two concepts. The first is like a sea of currents, some with clear direction and swift, and some churning and some slower (I agree with Starry-Eyed!). The second concept is that time is the breaking of symmetry of the universe (which I see as happening repeatedly in "chunks" temporarily and yet constantly).

In each case there is a definite arrow of time, yet taken as a whole there is no overall change in spacetime (a bit like the currents of the oceans going in specific directions, and yet the whole ocean is the same overall).

So, you can't ever go backwards, but you can kind of slide alongside a current going the opposite direction, pehaps using wormholes.

I can't back any of this up or explain further as I'm only using my intuition here! True physicists feel free to dismiss, hehe.

  6. I believe there is intelligent life SOMEwhere else in the universe.

I think that, someday, we'll find a way to "cheat" the theory of relativity to bend or warp space-time to allow for effectively faster-than-light travel &/or time travel.

But then again, I could be FOS. ;)

  7. Yes, yes and yes

  8. yes. i think that all of that has existed and the"great flood" or tsunami wiped all of it out. we will eventually reach that technology again.

  9. The universe is seriously vast. there could be trillions and trillions of stars like sun, and they may have their very own earths too. It is quite possible that life exists on one of these earths.

FTL travel? nope. it is already proved that the faster we travel the slower the time moves. so, if we travel faster than light, time will come to a complete standstill. and if time stops, you can guess the rest.

Time machine? maybe. have you ever heard of wormholes?  well, wormholes are gateways to other universes running in a different phase of time. (theoritically, there are infinite number of universes all running in a different phase of time). so if we ever build a machine capable of holding a wormhole open, time travel is possible.

  10. The existence of other intelligent entities in the Universe certainly seems possible, perhaps probable. Do not expect to see either faster than light travel or time travel in any reasonably foreseeable future.

  11. I believe in aliens

    i believe in faster-than-light travel

A time machine is a bit more problematic. I do not know if it is possible

  12. yes and its impossible to do the second... in order to ever travel at the speed of light... we would have to become pure energy.... let alone go faster..... as for the time machine.... prolly not....

  13. Ummm, I dunno about the first two. But I think time is an illusion, so you can't really travel what isn't there :)

  14. You almost hit the nail on the head!

I believe these so-called "aliens" and "U.F.O. alien craft" are actually not aliens from another planet or dimension but earthlings from our planet in the distant future. If you research the history of alien craft sightings you will notice that a lot of them occur during major historical events(Chris Columbus' sighting in 1492, Neil Armstrong first man on the moon if you can believe that he actually saw an alien craft, and others). Why would 'aliens' from another planet have any interest in observing our historical events?

This theory would explain why the craft never land and aliens don't introduce themselves. Earthlings from the future wouldn't dare show themselves (they wouldn't want to revel their true identity and mess up the time line and freak out a bunch of primitive humans) and also if their ships crash it explains why the government is so quick to cover it up and give other explanations for the event.

Scientists have said recently that there is a decent chance that time travel will be possible and even probable in the future. Imagine what we will be capable of in 300-500 years only?!!

  15. Yes, the universe is too big for Earth to be the only habitable planet. Dolphins and whales on Earth show there can be more than one intelligent, communicating species on a planet. Yes we will travel faster than light when we learn to warp space.

Time is a river. Like an ant on a leaf floating downstream, we only see it move in one direction. Near shore and around rocks, the flow changes speed and direction. We will find those eddy currents before time ends.

  16. Yes,No and No.

  17. Extraterrestrial life, most certainly. Have they been here? No.

Will we ever be able to go faster than light? Probably not but the jury is out until we discover the Theory Of Everything (TOE) in theoretical physics. But mostly no. Saying we will is like a caveman saying he will go to the moon... he has no idea if its possible or not.

Time travel. NO NO NO IMO. Time travel is self defeating. Every time you go back in time you change some little thing that changes your present and therefore you journey. When the journey changes the affects you have on the past are different giving you yet another changed present. This cycle continues forever until you change something in the past making the journey never happen.

  18. The best and only reasonable solution to the Fermi Paradox is that we are the ONLY show in the town... sorry kid. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermi_parad...

But if you just HAVE to believe in ETs and UFOs, they have something special in store for you. Google/youtube: "Project Bluebeam"

Type III 'aliens' and fake 'messiahs' just in time for 2012! Many will be fooled...

Later, ask yourself how we knew in advance:

  19.   Aliens,without a doubt.

      Time travel,never.

  20. Yes, I do think that there are alien life forms out there in the vast universe, but I know they haven't been taking trips to Earth.

No, I don't think we will ever travel faster than the speed of light. I'm not entirely sure I think we will ever travel at the speed of light.

Time machine... hmmm.... maybe. I doubt it, but it is a possibility. But we won't be able to travel back before the time machine was created.

  21. Hi, my name is Xartox Phleeb of the Corvallian Empire of planet Garub (known as Antares X45 to you earthlings). I am writing this message from the Earth-Year 2989 A.D.

My race intercepted this message, it took almost 100 year for it to reach our planet (Thanks to your antiquated satalite communications network). We decided to take this opportunity to test out our new Time Machine Network Connectivity to test it's compatibility with your Internet. If you can see this message it means the test was a success. So, to answer your question, YES.

Well, it's time for morning feeding, I'm off to go have a bowl of Goatmeal.
