Question:

Aliens (as we usually picture) them; are they really 'alien' or are they us?

The modern human species has always been fascinated with time travel and 'will' invent it, all that currently prevents it is 'time' but I believe we will get there in the end. My theory is that the so called 'grey alien' with it's large black eyes and pail skin is actually the creatures we evolve into in the future. We have invented time travel and use it to visit ourselves in the past. We either visit as part of a vacation or to study our bad ways. They could be pail because we have to live underground or in complete shade away from the suns deadly rays (due to the eventual final stages of global warming). The large dark eyes could have evolved to protect our sight from the same. Maybe they are trying to change theirs/our fate? Discuss....

  1. That is not an original thought.

  2. time travel really isnt possible. time is a constant measure of things that are alwasy changing. the idea of time travel involves going faster than the speed of light, so your actions have happened before they can even be seen . I'm pretty sure you'd die tho cos of the whole E=mc2 thing.

  3. for us they are alien...

    for they, we are alien....

coz they not same with us.

  4. Highly unlikely.  While there has been documentation of phenomena we call UFOs, there have been no confirmed real photographs or sightings of what many assume must be the occupants of these objects (assuming there are occupants).  As far as we know, the stereotypical alien form is a product of lore melding into popular fiction.

Not only is it uncertain that these objects have living entities in them, but time travel is also a very remote possibility.  Furthermore, I am skeptical that genetics are resilliant enough to last long enough to mutate into such a different species.  As the theory of evolution stands currently, another extention of the theoretical age of the earth is about due in order to accomodate the realities of mutations.  But the reality is, until we capture an "alien," everything in this discussion is conjecture.

  5. Sustainable life like ours needs oxygen, so aliens would look like most anaerobic creatures, if they do exist, seeing as the other planets lack the levels of oxygen as ours does.

  6. of course 'aliens' exist, they all dwell in a big spaceship called the 'houses  of parliament'.

  7. There are no aliens, only in our imagination.

  8. yeah well My theory is that illustrations of greys first started appearing on many escapist pulp fiction magazines during the 40’s / 50’s. Along with developing space programs at the time (Sputnik), these captured the publics imagination and soaked into their psyche. To back up my opinion, if you compare older illustrations of greys compared to modern, you’ll notice difference in distinct styles (inherent with era and evolving pop culture). You’ll also notice everytime there’s heightened interest in particular space programs -currently phoenix lander, theres always a huge increase in U.f.o sightings. What basically happened then is a bunch of bored journalists and ***holes started cashing in, inventing consipiracy theories, coverups and talking absolute baseless BS. After kenneth arnolds sighting, the thing exploded. The public came along basically repeating watered down versions, inventing abduction scenarios to gain attention, endure personal traumatic events or embelish themselves. Failed presenters and media journalsits like david icke or ex-civil servants like Nick pope started to capatalise on the whole thing, coming out with everything from being ‘the new christ’ to reptilian one world governments. Then eventually half the planet started to belive this total s**t  bubble head rubbish, we all became ignorant, delusional but self assured we were actually open minded enough (because these same bs mongers told us we were).

  9. Not a bad theory if you wish to write some bad science fiction.

I tend to think that the line between reality and fiction is much more blurred than most people today think...

eg. Take for example this document

    http://plain2.tripod.com/251stContactNot...

Most people will have no clue what it is about, until they re-read it a few times over... What it details is the history of our solar system, and of the various planets that had civilisations on them - the history of this Earth, and that of our future...

There is some pretty weird far off stuff with the Billy Meier UFO Contact Notes, which is about the Plejarens...

I have been researching this for the past 5 years - and found it worthwhile ... It is not recomended to read the Randolph Winters material - for lack of accuracy...

Here is a website that fills you in...

www.figu.org (English Discussion Board)  Use the search engine there.

There is also a DVD out "The Silent Revolution of Truth" which is an excellent introduction and presentation for the beginner to this material.  While this information is on various sites etc ... it is all here, on the DVD.

  10. That is well thought out....you have blown my mind. I doubt if you will be proven right in our lifetime though....plenty other theories in the sea (of tranquility)

  11. aliens are from others galaxies, but there is a group whom work with the goverments of the world.

  12. A "theory" requires a testable hypothesis.  This does not have one.

Also, time-travel in this manner would imply a fixed, unchangeable history with predestination.  Highly unlikely.

A "visitor" from the future would by his very presence in our time cause tiny but significant changes which would certainly result in his own future ceasing to exist.  "Butterfly Effect" this is called, and it's one of the more obvious reasons that time travel is impossible.

Think about it in terms of your own past: the tiniest of variations, and the sperm cell that became half of you is NOT the one to penetrate your mom's egg.  You are never born.  ANYTHING could cause that change.   Your dad is a minute later getting there when you were concieved because he was cut off by another driver and had to brake and missed the greenlight, and that driver who cut him off was a woman applying her makeup in the car because she was late for work because her yooung son woke her up in the middle of the night because he had a nightmare.

    Tiny change, large outcome.

Visiting the past?  Sets you up to make some HUGE changes, even by accident.

Go on, read Ray Bradbury's "A Sound of Thunder."  It explains it all, although in a sci-fi sort of way.
