Alistair Melville busted by Jeff Sluzinski
Alistair Melville was among the players to be busted on Day 2, outdone by Jeff Sluzinski. The hand started off with Sluzinski raising the bet to 3,200 from his early position, followed by a hesitant call from the raiser button. Melville moved all-in with his 6,900 chips, with jack of diamonds and ten of hearts in his hand. Sluzinski further raised the bet to 11,700, with the player on raiser button calling to enforce a flop.
An ace of hearts, eight of spades and six of diamonds came on the flop, with Sluzinski throwing in 7,000 chips more in the pot. The player on the raiser button folded and Sluzinski reveled his Wyne Gretzky, nine of spades and nine of clubs, leaving Melville in a terrible condition. An ace of diamonds on the turn and king of clubs on the river dumped the dejected Melville from the table, leaving Sluzinski delighted.
