All 16 participating countries have named final U19 World Cup squads, confirms ICC – Cricket News Update

As per ICC provisions, all the participating teams are expected to name their provisional squads 60 days before an event gets underway, and submit their final squads 30 days before the first ball of the competition is bowled. In case of the upcoming U-19
World Cup, July 11 was the last date for the participating boards to submit their final lists of players.
A total of sixteen teams will be competing in the ninth edition of the youth event. Along with ICC’s 10 full members, six qualifying teams will also contest in the high profile youth tournament. The six teams, which qualified from the 10-team Under-19 World
Cup qualifiers in Ireland last year, include Papua New Guinea (from the East Asia-Pacific Region), Namibia (from the Africa Region), Ireland and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nepal-c2965 (from the Asia Region).
Eligibility criteria for the 10 full member countries is that players born on or after 1 September 1992 can participate in this year’s U-19 World Cup, while the eligibility criteria for the affiliate members is 1 September 1991.
The 16 teams have been divided into four groups. Hosts Australia, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Papua-New-Guinea-c41002 are drawn in group
C, while Group D comprises of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747.
The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super League quarter-finals, while the remaining two will qualify for the Plate Championship quarter-finals. Overall a total of 48 matches will be played at eight different venues in Queensland, between
August 11 and 26.
