Question:

All Air Force. Need Advice.?

I recently got my job for the air force. and my job is public health. it was like 4th on my list of 7 jobs. and im not too happy with it. if anybody has ever done public health in the Air Force. Please respond back with details. advantages and disadvantages of the job. anybodys help would be good.

  1. This is second hand; I had a friend who worked Public Health.  She really liked it.  It seemed pretty cool to me. . .she got to test the base water supply, etc.  She did work weekends when there was a break out of shigella on base, because they tried to track down the source.

    It pays well on the outside if you get your degree.  


  2. Here's the job description and other info about the job. The major advantage is you can be stationed anywhere. You probably won't be doing everything at once but eventually you'll be trained on all of it.

  3. well having dealt with public health...they normally dont work weekends..so that is a plus...other than that i mean its really gonna suck from what i have seen..lots of paperwork and bs...but if office work is what you want i guess it could be good
