Question:

All Black fans' short memories?

To blame the ref for their loss to France is diabolical! There is no side that plays on the 'fouler' side of fair than the All Blacks.

I am Welsh and will never forget when Wales were leading the All Blacks by 2 points in the final minute of a test match. There was a line-out, and one of the All Black players actually dived out of the line-out, claiming he had been pushed. The replay afterwards showed clearly that no-one was near this player, everyone was waiting for the ball to be thrown into the line-out. This resulted in a penalty which the ABs converted to win the game by one point. I'm trying to find a video of it on Youtube for everyone to see. Also at last year's 6 nations when ref Chris White gave us a penalty against Italy, and said Wales had enough time in the last seconds to go for a kick to touch and have the line-out. He let us kick to touch then blew for full time. We were gutted but no point in being bad losers.

Anyone remember the AB diving from the line-out?

  1. i don't remember that particular incident.

Refs decisions even out over the course of the game,  with 70%+ possession and simialr territory Kiwis cannot blame the ref for them losing.

You are right about history though,  so many times the ABs get away with forward passes or hands in the ruck, playing the ball on the floor etc. glad to see they didn't get away with it as much in this game.

  2. We did it!!

    Btw was an hithcockian game!!!

you can found on every game something like this

but rugby is playing by 33 persons during match

  3. No

What part of you alternative universe did this come from

I am a AB fan, I dont blame the ref, I cant help it if he is an idiot

WE lost , end of story

You sound like a bad winner and you wernt even playing

You want to blame current ABs for alledged misconduct of former Abs

And what does 6 nation trial games have to do with the ABs

    Hey gouch

Chill out sonny, Like I said we dont blame the ref & We lost. Build a bridge and get over it

Want some onions with that tripe

    Hay Boyo

You pretty good at diggin up old history to justify your existence

Please get it thru your head WE DONT BLAME THE REF

WE LOST, FRANCE WON END OF STORY

  4. <<<We were gutted but no point in being bad losers.>>>

Yet your post suggests otherwise. Get over it you welsh crybaby. Your team sucks. They were lucky to win a game in the six nations and were too useless to make it to the quarters of the world cup.

  5. Your right, a bad ref call shouldn't matter or be complained about. You should just get on with it as if you haven't spent your whole life training and dreaming of this moment.

Wow you certainly have memories - Sour memories of a bad decision or is that okay for rugby's biggest underacheivers.

Wales.  I remember the 99 world cup when we (the wallabies)

won a game against Wales that you should have one, deserved to win but ultamatley didn't win because the ref missed some terrible, awful errors. Completely incompetent, was the ref and I may have been the only Person in Australia to feel sorry for Wales.

Do you not then more than any one agree that the video ref absolutely has to have more impact on the game. If a touch judge can then why not a vid ref. You may have had a World cup under your belt.  But I guess bad decisions don't matterand YOU should just get over it

  6. I am an all blacks fan and to be fair I think they have only themselves to blame for the loss to the Blues. Very short on ideas and imagination last night. As to the cries of AB being hard done by , I guess what goes around comes around.

  7. there crying there fat heads into there pillows in the southern hemisphere today, COME ON SCOTLAND!!!!!

  8. You're kidding right??

"There is no side that plays on the fouler side of fair than the All Blacks".

What evidence have you got to back this up??

All you have is an incident that took place in 1978!!!!!!!

That was nearly 30 years ago what relevance does it have???? It was the All Black Andy Haden who "cheated", he claims that he planned to dive but the referee TO THIS DAY insists that he penalised a line-out barge by a welsh lock. Basically... the penalty was awarded for another offence. You bitter Welsh have overlooked this fact for 30 years. So yes... Haden admits that he dived BUT.... the penality had nothing to do with the dive. The penalty was for another offence: an obstruction on Frank Oliver. GET OVER IT!!

Of course the ABs infringe, but EVERY SINGLE team in the world does. Your Welsh are no different. I still remember Rico Gear being tackled right on the tryline and your flanker williams laid all over the ball to prevent it coming out. This was in 2006 - less than a year ago.

The Australians and Boks are specialists at killing the ball. The Boks "rush defence" is constantly offside if you watch it closely. My point is.... every team pushes the law to a degree. Don't single the ABs out as being the biggest cheats. Surely you are not narrow minded or ignorant enough to believe that?!?!

Edit: Gouch I have read that link, and it proves my point:

" Quittenton insists that he penalised a line-out barge by the Wales lock Geoff Wheel and was not conned by Haden, telling Rugby News: "Haden's perception is that his dive secured the penalty. That is a load of rubbish."

Anyway, that is a British article. Everyone knows that British newspapers are EXTREMELY biased. Analyse the footage yourself. Try not to focus solely on the actual man diving. There was a genuine penalty which was picked up which had nothing to do with the dive.

Yes he did cheat by diving. BUT it didn't affect anything, it was nearly 30 years ago and at least he had the balls to come out and admit it.
