Okay. So this guy was huge.

Black dude long hair. I want to say he was a flanker?

I can't remember.

His legs were monstrous.

Played for the team back when they played France for the cup, I think.

Was offered to play in NFL but turned it down.

This guy was HUGE.

Someone has to know what I'm talking about.

  3. Nope....not all big black gotta do a sport buddy. why cant dey be a doctor, or an artist? huh??

  4. Sione Lauaki...no. 8

  5. the only all black offered an NFL contract was Jonah Lomu, the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys offered him contracts.  He never had long hair though, and he didnt play for the all blacks in 1987 when they played France for the cup.  He was tongan, not black, he was a wing, not a flanker, although he did play #8 for NZ Secondary Schools before making all blacks

  6. Jonah Lomu?

    Didn't have long hair though.

Played on the wing but was the size of a loose-forward (actually played schoolboy rugby at No.8)

    6 ft 5 in. 120kg (265lb). Ran the 100m in just under 11 sec.

Debuted in 1994 for the All Blacks and finished up in early 2000s. Had a condition called nephrotic syndrome which was ruining his kidneys. Had kidney transplant and attempted (unsuccessfully but good on him) to get to the top level again.

  7. ~ Okay might possibly be Sione Lauaki (Polynesian brown dude) who has recently shorn the long locks ~ plays for the Chiefs in the Super 14 or Rodney So'oialo (another Poly boy) who plays for the Hurricanes. ~
