As far as being consistently competitive on the world stage...yes.  Mostly thanks to the Maori chant they do before matches.

i'm a big fan of NZ Rugby, they're this team has power

in the forwards and speed in backs, they are also great support players leading up to trys......i'm a big fan of Dan Carter.(yes they are the best international sports team)

Yes they are a very good team, but the

Soviet Union ice hockey tam had a great record.  I think it would go to Brazil, soccer is a more international sport.  To NZ Girl good answer, no its not a chant its a Maori challenge.

first up...Its called a HAKA, not a Maori chant!! But anyway..i think the All Blacks are an outstanding team considering they have such a small pool of possible players to choose from (NZ is a country of only 4million) yet they consistently perform at the top of the tables.

On the other hand, Rugby is a relatively unpopular sport in terms of world recognition when compared to football, cricket etc, so I wouldnt neccessarily call them the BEST international sports team...definitley a great one tho, and New Zealands favourite!!

Hard to say, the All Blacks have always been in the top 5 of world rugby even when they were going trough bad patches, but to say they are the best team in all sports is very difficult to say as it is hard to compare different sports.
