All England Open: Sayaka Takahashi punishes Chloe Magee in Women’s Singles qualifying round
Japan’s upcoming player Sayaka Takahashi continued her brilliant run and reached into Women’s Singles main round after thrashing Ireland’s Chloe Magee in qualifying round of Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships 2013 on Tuesday, March 5, at Birmingham, England.
The spirited Sayaka, who was the top seed in Women’s Singles qualifying round of the All England Open, played with smashing speed and remained successful in showing exit to her un-seeded Irish challenger in a commanding fashion in just 30 minutes.
Japanese shuttler played with remarkable control in her shots and continued playing aggressive badminton all the way and eventually wrapped up a striking victory in straight games with a huge 21-11 and 21-17 total on the score board.
On the contrary, the lower ranked Chloe failed to respond well to the powerful shots of her Japanese challenger. She tried to play attacking badminton but failed to destroy the defence of Sayaka and eventually went down easily.
It was a crunchy fight in the opening rallies when Sayaka showed a wonderful display of her skills in the arena.
Sayaka showed that she has obtained highest class skills in the arena and remained successful in getting a strong position in the arena.

In the second part of second game, the impressive Sayaka continued her comfortable run without letting her rival to catch up the deficit. She eventually grabbed the second game with a reasonable score of 21-17 and advanced into the main round with this convincing victory.
