  1. I would recommend you get in touch with a local home school support group/charity as they are more likely to have knowledge about free home school resources.

  2. I homeschool my son and we have used many Internet sites *http://www.edhelper.com* which has many free worksheets, but many more for a small fee; *http://www.abcteach.com* which also has many free things.

The most invaluable thing I've found is a book called "Home Learning Year by Year: How to Design a Homeschool Curriculum from Preschool Through High School".

Not only does it have a detailed analysis of what should be taught/learned for each grade level, it has many, many, many resources listed within it, immediately following each section. Please use the link following to find it at Amazon.com, or request it from your public library.

Good Luck and I hope this helps.

  3. Your public library will have lots of educational sources and they are always free!

  4. www.homeschool.com

  5. The library is a good place for programs but perhaps you can get better help from other home schoolers in your area (see below).

I'm from Toronto(Canada) so I don't know your area at all but I was able to find stuff on hunch. For example, I googled your city and "dinosaur" and found the website for the Academy of Natural Sciences.  Apparently they have a program specifically for homeschooled kids (see below).

Let me know if you get stuck on a specific topic and I'll be happy to help you out.
