All I get is "Status Code 8015000a"?

Question

I just got back into Xbox Live after about a year of so of not playing. But when i try to redeem my 3 month gold membership card. I get the Status Code 8015000a screen. It's been there for 2 days!!! & i dont want to start another gamertag because there is alot of things i worked up with the one i already have. So if anyone knows what this problem is please tell me!

Status Code 8015000a = "not finding a storage device"

so its a hard drive issue

If you had bothered to Google "status code 8015000a," you would have learned that it's a server error.
