All Mcdonalds employees please read!?

ok i have been working at mcdonalds for 7 weeks at the register and i am making some mistakes still, i am a shy person i dont really like to smile.

i am 14 and live in australia

the fact is i am dreading work i am not looking forward to facing customers i work at a mcdonalds thats in a food court in a westfield which is ALWAYS busy customers be rude to me if i make a mistake the managers are pretty cool.

how long did it take you to get used to the register and did you dread it?

can you please give me some tips so i am not feeling like this.
