im not sure how old mine is, maybe 2 or 3 months old is my estimate.

  1. You have to make sure you attempt to hold it everyday. It will probably take about a month.

  2. About a week for my mice. I have two females, one about a year the other only a few months. I held the mice and offered them food until they trusted me, but lightly flicked them if they bit. They are very sweet. Best small pet ever!

  3. i had a mouse when i was about 10, and it really didn't take long to tame her. i would feed her small snacks with my hands just so she would get used to me, and know that i am OK.

  4. It really depends on the personalities of the individual mice.  Each one is different, just like everyone else, but the younger the mouse is, the quicker the taming process (usually).

I've had the pleasure of knowing dozens of mice through the years.  Our 2 current girls were tame when we adopted them from the breeder, and *most* of the mice I've known have become tame pretty quick.  On the other paw, I've lived with a very few who took *months* to develop trust, and 2 who never became hand-tame-- these 2 cases happened several years apart & most mice (even "feeder" mice) become friendly pretty fast.

Try to spend some time with your little ones every day, a few short sessions is better than 1 long one, especially in the beginning.  Talk to them, offer treats in the palm of your hand & just leave your hand in the habitat for awhile.  Good luck!

  5. it takes a few weeks but its worth

    it once there trained.

  6. ABOUT A MONTH
