did it effect you when you heard of his suicide today?

It has effected me terribly, nobody knows what's behind somebodys' smile.

Depression is the silent killer, I hope his pain has gone now. x*x

Yes, I think it's a tragic loss of a young Australian. Of course, I love watching my All Saints every Tuesday night, and I admit it will be different without my favourite nurse - Dan.

**The news has left me upset and a bit shaken today.  It was only last week that the daughter of one of my friends took her life and this news has brought back a lot of the emotions I felt last week.

As someone who has suffered from depression, it makes me so sad to think that he felt like this was the only way out for him and the only way to stop the pain that he was experiencing.

I can only hope that he has now found peace from the h**l that he was going through .**

Made me very sad suicide is never a way out and the thing is his pain might be gone but for those who loved him it is just beginning.

My grandmother comitted suicide and my mum found her and suffered shocking depression all her life and it affected our whole family forever.

I hope he is resting peacefully but what I meant was he had a choice they didn't.

I think this is incredibly sad. All Saints is my favourite show and Dan will sorely be missed! I couldn't believe it when I heard! I actually called around to see if it was true! He was truly a talented actor and I just wish he had been able to find happiness from life.

Depression is awful. There's no other way to see it.

My thoughts are with his family, friends and the rest of the All Saints cast right now. I really feel for them at this difficult time. I do hope that everyone will remember him for his brilliant acting though and not for this terribly tragedy.
