Do you agree to people having multiple accounts ?

What is the point in having more than one account ?

The answer you are looking for is Yes! But I am going to tell the truth and say No! One account is more than enough for any user! Having multiple accounts is wrong and unfair! I am totally against them and see no point in people having them! The only reason I can see why people have them is to get back at others! It is wrong and unjust! I have been the subject of a multiple account but that is for another day! I have no more to say on the matter!

FINALLY I FOUND IT!!!

my answer is nope i had my first account suspended aka deleted from yahoo thanks too noobs and my second which had alot of points and was a level 6 with TC in 2 sections deleted so basically this is my third account and i have no other active ones.

i had one i used at the start when the account allowances were low, but i dont use it now.  i used it a while back to ask a question in another section but other than that, i use only this one.

Actually, I have two ... both named as me from birth: angus ...

same icon and all, it's for when me answers get, ahem, removed for whatever reason. One's a wee more forward than the other, in the event of deletion. If I had to produce another account, it would be the same with the same icon, et al. There is no re-ineventing me ... This is my third account here ...

I don't see whats wrong with having more than 1 account as long as you help people find the answer to there questions.

Having more than one account is funny because you can be referees and no-one would know who you are.

Nope, I've been using this account and this account only for ages. I'm more than happy to tell you that I used a separate account for 'Just A Typical United Fan' for a bit of fun and I also spent three days under the username of 'ZA' after I quit as 'The Problem'...I took the advice you game me and tried to stay anonymous but it didn't work :( But of course, I've never tried to pass myself off as another person for reasons other than what you told me to do, which I know is a big part of what you're trying to get at here.

2. Do I agree with it?

No, I don't agree with it, but I don't have a problem with it if they're used in the correct way. Using them as a friendly joke (like Typical United fan) or because you've run out of questions on your main account is fine with me. But it's the people who are sad enough to abuse them by thumbing up/down answers multiple times, or to report people, or to try and pass themselves off as a different person that really doesn't go down well with me.

3. What is the point?

I think I've explained this in the previous answer. If you're using it/them in the correct way it's fine, but if you're abusing them you should take a good long look at yourself and ask yourself just how sad you really are. I've had somebody accuse me of abusing multiple accounts and I couldn't believe what he was accusing me of...I was like "Woah! Does this stuff really go on here?!" And it does. Which is why I've become so sharp-eyed to this stuff now.

well I had 2 because of what happened a year ago if anyone still remembers (we messed with other sections got our accounts deleted but some accounts came back like mine etc) but I haven't used it in a long time so I'm not even sure if its active
