  1. Sydney Harbour, it's big and blue and connected to the ocean.  GST is included in all that it has to be, ie, nobody will say oh, plus GST lady, open your purse again, it's a big busy city with heaps to eat, see and do, ferry boat ride, compulsory and government run so cheap.  Wear sensible walking shoes,

  2. http://www.ato.gov.au/ml.asp?60    Gst is 10 % This site will give you more Info

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Jackso...  Sydney Harbour is known to be one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. The Port is called port Jackson

  3. G'day mate.

Sydney's a beautiful city, the best in the world. There's only the one harbour in Sydney, that's Sydney Harbour (it's actual name is Port Jackson). It's the head-waters of the Parramatta River. You've really got to see Sydney Harbour to believe it. It's the centre piece of the city.

Sydney is full of things to do & places to go. World class restaraunts & theatres.

At the moment, the place is sparkleing in our winter sunshine, the days are fairly warm (between 18 & 22 deg. celcius, i'm not too sure what that is in farenheit?), & the nights are cool & crisp.

I'm starting to feel like a travel agent here, but it really is a beautiful place. I've done a fair bit of travelling, & i'm yet to see a place to rival it.

In around the city proper, some of the places to see are.....

    The Rocks.

The first place to be settled in Sydney. heaps of historical buildings, some great pubs, right on the south side of the Harbour, some great touristy things to do.

    Darling Harbour.

Part of the old working harbour. again, some great touristy things to see & do. The Sydney Aquarium, lots of restaraunts, great view of the harbour.

    Circular Quay.

The hub of the harbour. great view of the Bridge & the Opera House. The place to go to catch a ferry to just about anywhere on the Harbour. Again, some great places to eat & have a beer.

    The Botanical Gardens.

Absolutely beautiful, gotta be seen to be beleived. Fantastic views.

    Newtown.

Busy at any hour of the day or night. Fantastic collection of eclectic humanity.

The GST won't worry you, you don't even know you're paying it. It's built into everything (in essence it's 10% of the price of stuff).

Don't just stick to Sydney proper though, get around & have a look at greater Sydney aswell. We've got a great public transport system,  & it's fairly easy to get around the place.

    You'll love it.

    Cheers. Mulga.

  4. Sydney is 4 million. Sydney Harbour connected to the Pacific ocean on one end and the Parramatta River on the other end

    GST is  roughly 10% nationally
