  1. Is it Thomas or really the Island of Sodor you're worried about?

  2. Not sure what the question is here, but as a mother of 4 year old twins (girls) I know a lot about Thomas the Train.

Although I find the show a bit annoying, they love Thomas!  He does promote good morals, teamwork, and "being useful."  It was created numerous years ago by a Reverend (I think) for his young son.  Since then, it has grown into quite an empire of shows, toys, and even appearances!

The toys are a bit expensive, so choose them wisely. I bought a generic wooden track, but got them some real Thomas engines.   "A Day out with Thomas" is a GREAT activity that travels the country (it's actually here in CT now).  Families get to take a train ride on a railroad with an actual "THOMAS ENGINE" in front.  There are great activities -face painting, small rides, train demos -  and of course, lots of stuff for sale.  But it's fun if your kid likes Thomas.  (Mine do.)  Check the closest RailRoad station to see if they take part in the yearly event.

    Hope that helped...

  3. There's the book of railine stories all about Thomas and his friends, try finding it and other Thomas stories. Maybe eBay or Amazon...
