All about graphics card?

i have bought a new computer which has a pci express slot

i have my graphics card from my old computer which is agp.

is there anything i can do to (like use an adapter) so my agp card will fit in my pci-e slot.

  1. Nope. no such adapter exists. You will need to buy a new card, sorry.


  2. PCI Express is much more advanced, why would you want AGP? They don't even make AGP cards that much anymore...

    I'm sure the adapters are out there, but it wont be easy finding them, rest assured.  

  3. Unfortunately, no.  You're going to need to get a new graphics card.

  4. If you bought a new computer, you will most likely have a graphics card/or built-in graphics chipset on your motherboard. Unfortunately, AGP graphics cards will not go into PCI Express slots.

  6. Nope, pci and agp are completely different. But one good thing is that pci cards are a lot better!
