All about the 30-378 weatherby mag.?

The weatherby Accumark in the 30-378 weatherby mag. comes with a muzzle break. How much recoil the 30-378 have with the muzzle break. I understand it has about 54.6 lbs recoild without the muzzle break. Does the muzzle break make a difference? How much is the recoil with the muzzle break?

A muzzle brake will reduce the recoil impulse but increase the muzzle flash and blast.  I expect that the muzzle brake will drop the felt recoil to just under 50 lbs.

you do not need the muzzle break it leteraly kicks less than the 300wthby mag if you are worried about buy a extra but pad. the muzzle break will be so loud you will not be able to think. yes i have shot the gun. when practicing shoot with sticks so you asorb the reciol and its not bad. if you of a bench it will feel like 54lbs. the reciols is probably only about 40pounds at most.
