  1. Too spite your lost credibility because of grammar, you do have a decent point.

We simply do not produce enough corn to fuel vehicals, let alone serve as a product for consumption for both livestock and people.  Without question, prices for beef, pork, and other meats have gone up because of ethanol and they will continue to do so.  Mexico has been hit hard because the prices of corn tortillas, their staple food, has been driven up.

Ethanol can work, but not corn-based ethanol from here in the United States.  The government needs to eliminate the subsidy and eliminate the import tariff.  This will allow us to get a sugar-based ethanol from Brazil that is both economically and environmentally friendly.  While they don't produce enough to come close to fueling our entire fleet of cars, it is a step in the right direction, corn ethanol is not.

  2. our?

  3. Another example of the failure of our system of education.

  4. No. From what I've read, ethanol is a scam, it takes more fuel to produce ethanol than you wind up with in the end. You spend more gas in the tractors to produce the crops, getting the crops to market, etc., than you wind up with ethanol in the end and corn or whatever crop you are using has its prices driven up so other than being a benefit for the farmers involved it is pointless.

  5. us dont look as dumb we are.

  6. yea,we might be better off using those cobs to block our emissions to better our pollution control.

  7. no they dont, ethanol is not the answer. electric cars are. watch who killed the electric car then look up tesla and elliica. these cars are nasty. then look at electric car vs ferrari on youtube. sorry yahoo, i said youtube, get your game up. but the electric car toasts the ferrari and a porcshe. this world is f'd up
