All around supplement for an OTTB?

Question

I just bought a 9 year old OTTB about 2 months ago. He had been sitting for a while and is just now building back up muscles. I'm riding him as an English equitation horse, and I ride almost everyday. He has no arthritis or any health problems, amd only stopped racing because the owner couldn't afford the training any more. But since I'm riding him alot I was wondering if there was just a small supplement I could be giving him? Maby something especially for thoroughbreds?

If he has no arthritis or any health problems, then he doesn't really need a supplement. I suggest saving your money for something he does need, or that you really want.

its called having a good diet of quality feed...dont think you have to over do it or get something more...a healthy horse wont need any suppliments if they have a good balanced diet. =]]

I fed my TB a supplment called TLC, it was a broadspectrum supplment and he looked fantastic on it! However then I moved to a yard with all year round turnout, and as he is semi retired he just doesn't need it anymore, I give him other things.

It's really reasonably priced too
