Whats it like to go to school in australia? are you friendly to americans ? Whats cool there ?

im going to stay part of summer break and I have a feeling im never gonna want to leave.

  1. People here in Australia are down to earth and are more friendlier than Americans. Just don't take things too seriously, especially if an Australian person is teasing you about your accent, its all in good fun and nothing personal.

    School is different, we don't have school cafeteria's like in the US and the school year is different too, we have our summer break at the end of the year until February.


  2. I came to Aus when I was 15 and went to school on the coast- looooooved it and am still here. Aussies dont really have a great view of Americans. They love that Americans have alot and invent alot but loath that they are proud of it. Oh and Bush aint doing yous any favour over here either. Youll be fine! Everyone will want to know what home is like- trust me.

  3. school in Australia is.. pretty good I guess! depends on if you're going public or private, that makes a lot of difference..

    friendly to americans? yeah, I think so. some people are a bit anti-america but they don't take it out on individuals in my experience.
