Today is Mahela Jayawardene's birthday.

Mahela Jayawardene:

Born - May 27th, 1977.

Perhaps - some fans want his captincy striped off however, i blame the coach, openers & the middle order batsman of SL, not Mahela brave heart & backbone heart of SL cricket.

Mahela Jayawardene - the SL captain that lead Sri Lanka to an full force ICC WC championship 2007 however, 149 points changed the outcome & spirits of lion hearted fans across the globe VS Captain Jayawardene however, that was then, this is now. Amen.

Thanx FL88 for reminding. Lets wish him a Very Happy Birthday and a fabulous life ahead in Cricket and personal too. Ok, he's made a few wrong decisions here and there, but no ones' perfect right. He has been a remarkable leader, taking over the team when SL were more or less underdogs to most countries and showed the world straightaway his capabilities and what SL's was made off in the 5/0 whitewash in England. The guy will be good to lead Sl for a few more years.
