All-boy schools in Vancouver, BC?

My parents are moving to Vancouver and are considering an all boys school. Are there any in the Vancouver area that have a well known reputation? As well as accelerated and/or AP courses. Thanks

  1. I just had a quick look under 'private schools vancouver' and all I could find in all-boys was St George's and Vancouver College. Vancouver College is Catholic-based. St George's, at a glance, doesn't seem to have a church connection. Under 'topprivateschools.ca' (sorry, don't know how to highlight a link), St. George's ranked second just behind Upper Canada College in Toronto. That would make it a very good school. And a very expensive one. I've been there, working on a movie shot at the school;  it has an old-style building and grounds, very traditional, not luxurious but nice.

  2. My nephew goes to St. George's and I've been impressed with the work they do.  The boys there are very nice, many Asians, with good character and work ethic. I believe they have AP rather than IB classes, but you can google them and find out personally. You should enjoy it and learn a lot there, too.  Good luck!
