All day long it felt like I had to defecate but just a lot of gas came out. What's going on?

My stomach has been emitting enormous amounts of awful awful smelling gas. It almost smells as if a cow is in the room after I have been releasing gas. It smells like manure on a farm. I guess you could say that my stomach has been a gas farm. I have a date tomorrow night so I am worried that this gas won't go away by the time of the date. Should I try to take an ex-lax and force a large amount of f***s out of my bowels so the gas stops? But I am worried about defecating a large amount in my underwear and my washing machine is currently not working.

Stop eating such a mixed up bag of food as it is fermenting in you....Starches and fruit do not go together or with beer either...
