All four of my car speakers went out at the same time. What happened?

I was listening to my 4 new Pioneer speakers and my amp when all four speakers stopped working. The amp still gets power and so does the headset. Please help, I don't think the speakers burned out because I don't hear any static like is common with burned out speakers, just nothing.

  1. Check for an internal fuse on the amplifier. Check also for an external fuse on the main fuse panel, just in case the speakers draw power external to the amp. Make sure all buttons and sliders on the amp (such as speaker selectors, mixer, etc.) are in the right position.

    good luck with it!

  2. try resetting ur system. Take the power wire off of the battery for 10 seconds and put it in again, that should help you out. If not check the fuse on the radio or amp if you have one for the interior speakers

  3. could be multiple things.

connect another source to the speakers. if you hear audio then you know its not the speaker.

check your connection from the headset to the amp. if connected with RCA type connections they can sometimes come loose

if the speaker works connect another wire to the speaker and connect closer the source. sometime cheap wires will melt.

after that it is likely to be some sort equipment failure. i would swap components. i usually keep older stereos and amps to trouble shoot this type of issue
