All in one question sigma 10-20 (f 4-5.6) vs canon 10-22 (3.5-4.5)/Lexar SD cards?

I'm looking for a wide angle, can't break the bank but these two are in my budget. The Sigma is cheaper by over a hundred bucks, good reviews. The Canon is more expensive, lower stops, good reviews.

Any opinions?

If anyone can recommend a good alternative to the aforementioned it will be much appreciated.

Second part, I've ran across Lexar SD 2G/2card package for next to nothing. Wondering how cheapo Lexar performs.

  1. I haven't tried the Sigma yet, but the Canon's a very great lens!   For an additional $100+ it's still the better buy, in my opinion.

Haven't tried the Lexar cards either, but for 'next to nothing' I'd consider it.
