Question:

All inclusive check in?

I'm 18, and upon checking into a all inclusive resort i know they ask for ID to see if you get the adult wristband so you can drink. do i have to show my passport? or am i able to show any Id, like student ID...standard ID or international drivers license?

i just don't like taking my passport out enless i absolutly have to

  1. They will probably require your passport, not only for the age issue but also for positive identification.  Depending on the jurisdiction, seeing your passport may be required by law.  It's not a big deal to show your passport!  Just don't let anybody keep it, and store it in your room safe.


  2. the passport is the most reliable identification document acceptable to all institutions and establishments, internationally.

    for me, i always keep a copy of my passport (that page where you have your picture in it) in my wallet. suggest you do the same.

    when they ask you for ID, you can present the copy of your passport plus your driver's license and am sure, these are enough.
