  1. Not sure if there is a such thing as in all inclusive cruise. But on most ships sodas and alcohol run between $3-8 a piece(give or take a few). Some cruise lines offer soda packages that you purchase at the beginning of the cruise.  Otherwise its up to you on how much or how little you spend.

  2. As far as food goes, I only paid for a wine card - something like $66 for 20 glasses.  I drank water or iced tea (or wine), so no sodas (which were about $3 a pop).

I also did 2 wine tastings.

  3. that depends on what you want to buy. pictures are expensive and hard to resist. if you drink soda, purchase a fountain card on boarding, its cheaper.gift shops can be expensive, save your money to buy special gifts on the islands, they mean more in the end.watch out for the casino, its addictive.alcohol prices depend on the type and brand. but they have daily specials and you can keep the souvenir glass or return it for discount on your next drink

  4. If it is all inclusive - you won't be paying for anything except things in the gift shops.

  5. none, unless u want to tip all the crew on board and gambling

  6. We didn't pay for anything on our cruise, except gambling.

  7. all inclusive means you dont pay for alcohol or coke

  8. If you go on one of the top of the line cruises like Crystal, Oceania, etc that have prices starting at about $4,000 per person for a 7 day cruise then pretty much everything, including wine with dinner, and gratuities, is included.  BUT, if you are going on the cruise lines that most of us go on like Princess, Carnival, Norwegian, Celebrity or Royal Caribbean then there are some things that you will pay for.

The price of your cruise will include your cabin, all meals (except the specialty restaurants), all shows and entertainment, and use of all facilities on ship. The things that you will have to pay for once you are on the ship are:

Gratuities: They will amount to about $10 per person in your cabin per day; about $70 each for the week.

Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks: Coffee, tea, milk, juice, and lemonade and punch will be provided free but you must pay for drinks (alcoholic beverages) and they will add a 15% gratuity to each drink of soft drink order.

Photographs: Cruise lines will take plenty of photographs of you all over the ship, in the dining room, and as you exit the ship in ports. Some cruise lines even offer a video of your cruise. The photos will cost a lot, like $15 to $20 for most.

Tours/Excursions: These are listed on your cruise line web site and you can reserve them well before the cruise and pay for them ahead of time also. If you wait until you are on ship to book tours they will be charged to your on board account.

Souvenirs: Anything you buy on ship from a gift shop or duty free shop goes on your on board account. Things that you buy on shore you pay cash or credit card for.

Casino: If you plan to gamble on ship you will need cash for that.

Other: most cruise lines have what they call "specialty" restaurants where there is a gratuity/service charge.

--If you want/need to have your hair done, get a massage or wrap, or any services from the spa, you will have to pay for them. You can use the gym free but the spa stuff cost big bucks; prices start near $100..

--Ships now have internet cafe and some have WiFi but the there is a fee for internet access and it is very expensive (like about $50 to $60 an hour). We always look for internet cafes in the ports; they are usually only $5 or $6 an hour.

--You cabin will likely have a minibar with soft drinks and munchies; you have to pay for them .

When we cruise, and we have been on about 20 cruises, our on board tab at the end of the cruise is usually under $200.  That's because we reserve and pay for tour well before the cruise.  We do not buy a lot of drinks, maybe 2 or 3 drinks and a bottle of wine.  Drinks are usually in the range of $3 to $4 for beer and wine, $5.50 to $6.50 for mixed drinks (about $2.00 more if you get it in a souvenir glass); $8.00 for call brands; and soft drinks are $1.00 to $1.50.  All of these will have the 15% gratuity added.  We rarely use the ships spa for massage or other services.  We may spend $50 for "T" shirts and stuff from the ship's gift shop.  We may buy only one photo; usually the boarding shot.  And we do not do the specialty restaurants or internet cafe.  So the majority of our bill is for gratuities and a few drinks.
