All inclusive resort in Costa Rica?

My boyfriend and I are trying to plan a vacation in August. A travel agent suggested Costa Rica and gave me information on some different group vacations and all inclusive resorts. I think we'd prefer an all inclusive resort. Does anybody have any experience with a resort in Guanacaste or vacationing in Costa Rica in general? How about in August? Thanks!

Try Conchal in Guanacaste. If you look at the Pacific side, near Jaco, then the choice is Los Suenos.  It is a Marriot Resort property and has anything and everything.  But to be honest - if you want to experience Costa Rica - it is not in an all inclusive resort.  Rent a car and see the country - from San Jose to Guanacaste to the Oso peninsula.  In San Jose - spend a day and see the National Theatre - built in the late 1800's (when San jose was one of only three cities in the world to have electric lights - New York and Paris being the other two) - or go see one of the volcanoes - Poaz, Irazu - or better yet take a trip to one of the many Natiional Parks - Manuel Antonio.  There are too many unbelievable sites to see here - once you visit you may never want to leave.

August is a good month to come, and the all inclusive resorts are great because you can eat and drink everything you want, you don't have to go everywhere with your wallet in case you want something, and this is good because you don't have to be worried on where to put it while you swim in the pool or in the sea.

I went once to Barcelo Playa Langosta and it's a beautiful hotel.

Hope you enjoy your stay here, CR is a great country to visit and the beaches in Guanacaste are beatiful, I think they are the best of the country.

costa rica in august is THE BEST!!! it rains, but is warm, and zip-lining is sooo much fun!!! go ATVing and go to waterfalls!!! so fun!
