All jobs closing down ? Whats the point in going to school?

I heard all the jobs are closing down soon ? why? and if they are then whats the point in going to school to get a decent job later on in life when their isnt going to be any jobs ?:|

Yah, right. ALL the jobs are "closing down soon." How can you possibly believe that.

There will always be jobs of some sort.  In addition, going to school has value for its own sake..If nothing else, where do you meet people of your own age and interests?  Beyond that, where would you be if you couldn't read or write?  How could you have typed your question and submitted it?  And beyond THAT, an education enables you to enjoy life more fully and to cope with it more effectively.  But if you really believe that there will soon be no jobs, you'd better concentrate on studying agriculture while you can--as long as there are still teachers!

Well, you're eventually going to die, so why not just stop living now? If that's the way you think then you're setting your self up to fail. First off, all jobs are not "closing down", That's ridiculous. People still have to eat. That means that someone has to grow the food. It has to get from the farm to the store so someone has to drive the trucks. Someone in the store has to prepare the food for sale, price it, stock it, sell it etc. You have to drive your car to the store to get the food. That means that someone has to make your car, someone has to fix it, someone has to sell you tires, gas etc. What do you think....life is just going to stop? Get real. Sure, there will be some jobs in the future that will no longer be as good or as available as others. There is always a flux in the job market. Everyone thought that when the automakers started using automated (robotic) machines to build cars that all the human jobs would fall by the wayside. Instead there are a whole lot of people working in the robotics industry now, most of them making even more money. The trick is to recognize that you need to get as much education as possible so that you are the most valuable person an employer can find. Stick to your schooling and don't let the c**p that the losers are trying to use to discourage you, get you down. Good luck with your future.
