Mikey bought yet another off brand IPOD. I'm used to the "folder" type of operating program.

I'm writing / snyching to my device - no problem....

When I go to listen to a artist ( Carlos Santana ) , maybe 10 songs - no problem.

Listen to ( Pearl Jam ) , maybe 25 songs, - I get the first 3 , and then the forth and onward - FORMAT ERROR

When I synch the device - NO DOUBT, it's writing all my music - it's there! Problem is when I want to then listen to my tunes , I get the " Format Errer " and it wont open the file and access the song.

No rhyme or reason ..............Just certain artist ( folder ) it might let me listen to the entire folder and songs , and another , it may only let my listen to a few and then ...boom .............format error.............

Its a off brand Ipod 8 gig 3rd generation Ipod.

How it opens the folder ( artist ), and then access the individual files ( songs ), Baffles Mikey, and he needs helpppppppppp.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does my problem lie in the "Advanced tag editor " in windows Media player ???/

Seems like changing things in the advanced tag editor is where the problem might lie......
