All of a sudden 90 chevy s10 stopped working - pour gas down carb will run fine then stop - lost lights also

try checking your fuses. Then if you don't find one blown, THAT is when you come asking.

S10's are notorious for blowing fuel pump fuses.

Forget the fuses because this problem is beyond that.  You lost a fusible link which is a serious short circuit.

Sounds like something electrical like a bad ground or a blown fuse.
